HOW TO TIE DIE JEANS A LA ISABEL MARANT

Everywhere

Last week, in looking through my closet, I realized I had too many jeans that are all blah-blah/old/the same. So I turned to Isabel Marant for a little DIY inspiration on how to tie dye an old pair of Mango straight-legs. The results make me want to tie-dye everything in sight!

IT'S ALL ABOUT LONDON

London

Today is all about London. What else is there? After months of preparing, moaning, training, whining, speculating; the Olympics are finally here. While I wish I knew enough about sports to tell you who will win the most golds, this is not one of those posts. Instead, I'll tell you about some favorite spots I've been to, street style to envy, and why London is so much more than the 2012 games host.

P(INSPIRATION)

Everywhere

Sometimes finding inspiration is harder than it should be. I think we all go through ruts where the monotony of daily routine temporarily cuts off our inspiration supply. But then your mind seems to realize this and starts to crave it. It starts to seek it out again...

BBK MUSIC FESTIVAL

Bilbao

It's hard to go back to reality. But a weekend away from daily routine is always good for the body and soul. Especially when it involves Marcus Mumford, Luke Pritchard, and Thom Yorke (not all at once of course).

POLKA DOTS & PHOTO SPOTS

Madrid

I received a little package yesterday afternoon which, although expected, was joy inside a brown envelope. After my cousin introduced me to the online vintage market, Anttique Code, it was literally impossible not to support the cause. With prices that couldn't be more affordable, and items that are both unique and classic, this small but growing vintage e-boutique might quickly become a weakness.

A LE FRANCAIS

Paris

Classic French

Week one of my intensive French course has come to an end, and all I can seem to think about is anything French. While my grasp of the "plus-que-parfait" verb tense might not be up to par quite yet, there are still 3 more weeks left "pour améliorer" (aka to get my act together). And there's something about French style that is just so sharp and casual at the same time, you realize they didn't receive the label of "effortlessly chic" for nothing.
